I started my own practice in Haslemere, Surrey in 1986, now called Haslemere Clinic. I now work at the Clinic one day a week (Tuesday).
I qualified in 1976 at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London and also have a Diploma in Physiotherapy (1979).
For 10 years worked at Enton Hall Clinic in Surrey (a 90 bed in-patient health clinic) with other osteopaths, chartered physiotherapists, remedial gymnasts and nursing staff.
I became Director of the Physical Medicine Department in 1982 and was appointed Principal of the Clinic in 1984.
During this time I also lectured regularly on the prevention and understanding of low back pain and nutrition.
I have been a member of the Board of Governors of the British College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2005.
